《擦肩而過》是一段通往未解之謎的旅程。本次展覽記錄了國際留學生朋友們在韓國和烏茲別克之間穿梭的生活。在這些記憶的表象之下，浮現出燕的身影——這位曾在我童年時期短暫扮演「母親」角色的中國女性，以及她留下的點點滴滴。

失去是一種普世的情感，但當我們將其隱藏，無法言說時，我們便會繞行無數條彎路。但這並不代表我們的漂泊毫無意義。我再次回到那個無法解答的問題：我究竟是在追尋生活在這裡的人們的生活，還是在追尋那段時光中燕的記憶──一個我再也無法見到的人？

Catalog of A VIEW 2024 Portfolio Review

≪Passing me by≫ is a journey toward an unresolved mystery. This exhibition is a record that looks into the lives of international student friends, traversing between Korea and Uzbekistan. Floating beneath the surface are Yen, the Chinese woman who was briefly a 'mother' to me in my childhood, and the sediment she left behind.
A sense of loss is a universal emotion, but when we hide it and cannot put it into words, we take countless detours. Yet this does not mean our wandering is in vain. I return once again to the unanswerable question: Was I following the lives of those living here, or was I following the memory of Yen from that time, whom I can no longer see?
