Summer vacations (breaks) hold cherished memories for all of us. Now that we are adults, what does summer mean to us?

We sought to explore this question through photography and illustration, each capturing our experiences in unique ways.

The result is a book, titled “Summer Q 섬머 큐.”

The photographs capture diverse moments of summer: daily life under the scorching sun, reunions with old friends, aimless

trips to the countryside, and more. Each showcases a different aspect of summer. The illustrations, on the other hand, reimagine

these moments by adding emotions and fantasies—like the moment fireworks burst, an imaginary sea, or the shrimp tempura we crave.

Together, these mixed media of reality and imagination remind us that summer still remains a special time, even in adulthood.
