Developed in Yilan（宜蘭）: A risograph project that transforms local geology into imaginary oceans.


This two-volume research archive documents a risograph experiment conducted in Yilan, Taiwan, where geological photographs are “developed” into seascapes. Each image is printed in blue and black layers, turning the textures and contours of local rocks into waves and ocean currents. By intentionally introducing misregistration—a printing error usually avoided in conventional processes—the work adds visual effects absent in the original photographs. The project explores the visual amplification of natural “fluctuations” such as change, depth, and ambiguity inherent in landscapes and organic forms. (Includes a prototype print.)
