Workshop Instructor

黃語忻 Wuyin @wuyin_wingwing

Graduated from the Department of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts.
Deeply interested in mysticism and divination, they explore themes such as angel numbers through their artistic practice.

When creating Wuyin, the works often revolve around combinations of natural materials like crystals and pearls. With a strong fascination for totems, spirals, and window-flower motifs, these symbolic elements are used to construct and express a personal worldview.

The journey into jewelry-making began simply from a love of hands-on creation—and a desire to wear crystals on the body. Through online self-learning, the practice gradually took shape.

In its early phase, Wuyin started with waxed cord weaving, combining intuitive totem-like symbols with crystals. Each piece was one of a kind and impossible to reproduce. Later, while continuing to explore materials, the artist revisited tin, a material previously used for soldering circuit boards during university studies, and began experimenting with it in a new way—transforming it into shiny, spiky jewelry. This marked the beginning of Wuyin 2.0.
