This ZINE is composed of photographs I took while wandering through Europe for about two months in winter, several years ago.
It focuses on the subtle gap between the photographs I captured and the landscapes that remain in my memory.
For instance, one photo taken in Bratislava at minus two degrees shows a beautiful old town glowing in the sunset.
In reality, it was a tough day—traveling with a hangover, navigating a transport strike, and walking for an hour in the cold.
What stays with me is not the calm sunset, but the hard, physical sensation of that day.
Most of the prints were created with silkscreen, layered with risograph and laser copies using various techniques.
The work visualizes the ambiguity of memory and the passage of time—reconstructing images as they exist within my recollection through the act of printing.
