Small Issue was a self-organized zine collective that published a monthly issue featuring each member’s creative work. Members were also free to publish individual zines under the Small Issue name.

Our goal was to provide a space for creative expression in an environment like National Chiao Tung University, where the arts and culture scene wasn’t particularly lively. We hoped Small Issue could become a playground for anyone with a creative impulse but no clear way to express it. Here, no one worried about others’ opinions—everyone was free to express themselves recklessly and without responsibility.

The collective has since disbanded.
