A hands-on workshop exploring scale, expression, and power in typography. Participants will experiment with various tools and methods—from testing the limits of letter enlargement and legibility to constructing bold, oversized letterforms. This session is all about pushing typographic boundaries—mental, material, and digital. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture National Heritage of the Republic of Poland from the Culture Promotion Fund

Instructor: Marian Misiak
Instructor Bio:
Graphic designer, typographer, and writer. Founder of Threedotstype, an independent digital font distribution platform, and frequent collaborator with Slanted Publishers, a globally recognized design media and publishing house. He studied sociology at the University of Warsaw and typeface design at the Department of Typography & Graphic Communication at the University of Reading (UK). His professional experience includes working at Neville Brody’s Research Studio in London and several years in the Middle East, where he collaborated with the American University of Sharjah (UAE) and design studios in Jordan. His work centers on type design and visual culture.
