Sight of Seasons is a collection of poems in Chinese characters, inspired by the 24 solar terms of the year. It reflects the changing seasons and the passage of time. Influenced by visual poetry from the 1950s, this work uses the arrangement of Chinese characters to convey meaning and emotion, stepping away from inherent language structures. Chinese characters, as pictorial symbols, can represent objects, nature, and feelings. This work uses this ability to show the subtle changes in the flow of time.
