OUNCE Magazine is an art project 100% illustrated by Taiwanese artist, Leslie Wang. The contents are composed of the local foods in different regions based on the personal experience by the artist. OUNCE magazine combines gastronomy with arts & design and introduce international food culture. It is a continuing project.The mission starts from Taipei, Taiwan and continues in different cities. The series have been awarded Best Design & Best Food Magazine by Gourmand Food Book Awards in 2017.


While facing the COVID-19 in 2020, people are not allowed to travel anymore during the quarantine period.
The supermarket around my neighborhood became the place I visited the most.
When I wandered through the shop, looking at all the products on the shelves, I found that the grocery shopping experience in supermarkets not only made me travel across continents, but also through different historical times and spaces.
