This research came along with the creation of “Swiftly Yours” in 2022, a performative poetic tale about common swifts and the transitory aspects in their lives. The story is told by the means of words, gestures, a dance and a song. The tale invites the audience to imagine how these birds live on a daily basis and softly resonates with fluid ways of considering identities and genders, with several places and languages existing together, with humans and other animals passing through them.

The book is binded by hand, it includes 60+ drawings, a leaflet with a real-sized swift and photographs.100 copies have been published in two times in April 2023 and December 2024 using comcolor printing at Ateliers du Toner, Brussels. << Martinets noirs、、、雨燕、、、Common swifts >> received an honorable mention in the artist books category at Bookvision 2023 (Ostrava, Czech Republic).
