If you love zines, come join us for a gathering dedicated to print-based reading and exchange! Bring at least one ZINE you’re currently excited to recommend and share it with everyone.

Whether it captures a spark of imagination or reflects and reinterprets the real world, every work deserves to be understood, felt, and discussed. Let’s connect through ZINEs—sharing thoughts, perspectives, and stories together.

Workshop Instructor

Lady’s Club is a lesbian guerrilla collective formed by two cisgender lesbian partners in an open relationship. In the spare time outside our full-time jobs, we research lesbian history, culture, and entertainment based on our personal interests; take part in lesbian, feminist, and queer-related events; and occasionally organize activities that we simply find fun.

We’re two utterly exhausted office workers who, by day, are invisibly embedded in industries that are anything but “ladylike”—sometimes even aggressively un-ladylike. Yet after work, we might suddenly become full of energy or burst with inspiration, happily joining or hosting all kinds of events and writing all sorts of random things. We are, in many ways, a very mysterious organization.

Lady’s Club began because we couldn’t find lesbian events around us that truly felt like a fit. We love reading, listening to music, and watching films and series about women and lesbians—but our tastes aren’t exactly mainstream, and it was always hard to find like-minded people. So in 2020, we hosted a post–Pride home party at our own place.

Over the past five years, through running Lady’s Club, we’ve learned to place most of our attention on women. Along the way, we’ve discovered so—so many lesbians, women, and queer folks dedicating themselves to the things they care about. Since then, our calendars have been packed to the brim with vibrant events—dynamic, quiet, and wonderfully unconventional.

When we were younger, we could never have imagined that at forty, daily life wouldn’t necessarily settle into calm predictability. Instead, it’s still as delightfully chaotic as we like it—full of new lessons, fresh attempts, growth, deep joy, and big dreams. That’s the feeling we hope to share with everyone.
