Víctor Santamarina’s practice takes form in a tidal marsh in Rotterdam, where two aluminum sculptures—cast from dripping liquids—interact with the rhythmic ebb and flow of the sea. Documented through the voyeuristic lens of 10x magnification binoculars, the work positions the viewer within a "negative island," a site of urban debris and natural cycles. Featuring an essay by Felix Kalmenson, the publication captures a haunting dialogue between human remnants and the relentless, restorative power of the tides.
