“Fiction”, bearing the dual meaning of fabrication and the literary novel, resurrecting the “fallacy/illusion” I once believed within prophecies that will never come true. A text of over 500 words is poetry, and it can also be a novel.

“The so-called prophecy comes from a fictional deity, who does not pen prophecies personally but weaves fallacies into language. I translate them into affirmations, yet a smooth path forward never truly exists.” —What exactly makes me believe so deeply in such a god?

A writing experiment where imagination and reality intertwine, I placed fragments of my own experiences into the document, along with some uncertain “truths” of events. During those precarious days, I constantly pondered, deconstructed, and pursued, yet never received an answer/guidance from the “god.” Perhaps it is I who should write the prophecy. Just as I finally decided to put pen to paper and untangle the threads of my thoughts, the imagined “world” came to an end.
