Hats, as adornments for the head, carry diverse functions and meanings across people and cultures. Just like food — with its shapes, ingredients, flavors, and colors — every detail conveys a different message. In this workshop, food artist Lo Yu-Chi will guide participants in an experimental practice of creating hats out of bread. “Taste” can reveal one’s unique character, and through decorating with different ingredients and constructing various forms, each participant will craft a hat that represents themselves.
